ACCC® Conductor

Aluminium Conductor Composite Core (ACCC®) – High-Efficiency, Low-Sag Conductor

Aluminium Conductor Composite Core (ACCC®) is engineered with a hybrid carbon and glass fiber composite core, wrapped in trapezoidal-shaped aluminum strands. The high-strength structural core efficiently supports the mechanical load, while the fully annealed aluminum strands optimize electrical conductivity. The ACCC® carbon composite core is significantly lighter and stronger than traditional steel-core conductors. Additionally, its specialized glass fiber coating provides a protective barrier against galvanic corrosion and environmental damage.

  • 40% Reduction in Line Loss – ACCC® conductors significantly lower energy losses, improving transmission efficiency.
  • Low Weight & Low Sag – The lightweight carbon composite core minimizes sag, enhancing grid reliability.
  • Reduced Operational Costs – Improved efficiency translates to long-term savings in energy transmission.
  • Longer Spans Between Towers – High-strength core allows for extended spans, reducing the need for additional structures and cutting land acquisition costs.
  • Minimal Maintenance – The advanced design enhances durability, reducing ongoing maintenance expenses.
  • ACCC® is ideal for Reconductoring, Renewable Energy Projects, and New Transmission Lines. Its lightweight, high-strength structure ensures superior performance for modern power grids.
